Nokia Symbian S60V5

I am using Nokia N97 Mini phone and it is an all-in-all gadget I have ever used; in fact I can say it is a mini Laptop (palmtop). I can install required apps in it which supports S60V5.

The main purpose of writing this post is to let people know
  • What apps/games are good and useful
  • Where to get them (of-course for free) etc

The top and best apps I personally use are as below...
  1. Fring 4.04 (All-in-one IM client)
Supports almost all IM bearers - Skype, MSN Messenger, ICQ, Google Talk, Twitter, AIM and Yahoo!

    Get from: http://www.noeman.org/gsm/s60-v5-symbian-os-9-4-applications/152489-fring-v4-04-10-v4-04-13-s60v5-symbianos9-4-signed-%7Bnew-fringout-service-preview%7D.html
  2. Opera Mini 5.1 (Excellent browser than the one which comes default).
The main thing I like about this browser is it supports visible quick bookmarks, easy navigation, tabbed browsing (the most helpful one) and more.

You can get it from http://www.opera.com/mobile/download

  3. Projekt by Kylom (A must have Personal Assistant)
I am using this mainly for noting down my ToDos, daily tasks, quick notes, shopping list.

    Download it from: http://www.noeman.org/gsm/s60-v5-symbian-os-9-4-applications/79883-kylom-projekt-s60v5-incl-keygen-hspda-binpda.html

  4. i-SMS 1.10 (The best alternative to mange your SMS)
It supports chat style message and also it displays the long waited sms preview, scheduled sms and more.

  5. Handy Taskman (Best replacement for default task manager - a must have app)
We can keep our favorite application in the tasklist, close unwanted apps. It displays the available memory details.

    Grab it: http://www.noeman.org/gsm/s60-v5-symbian-os-9-4-applications/73515-epocware-handy-taskman-v2-02-s60v5-symbianos9-4-incl-keygen-hspda.html

  6. SPB Mobile Shell 3.7.5 (Multiple Home Screens and lots more)
Bored with the single home screen? Then here you go. This is a master piece which supports upto 14 screens (7+7). We can place any number of gadgets in each and every screen. Supports 3D screen rotation.
The one of the featured inbuilt apps which comes with this app is its superb contact manager and I love it to the core. The other is the birthday calendar; Wow!! now i will not miss out any birthdays.

  3. http://www.s60v5.us

Note: Some sites may ask you to register before downloading (Registration is free). Most of the apps mentioned above will be signed for you to install in your phone directly. If not, you need to self sign the unsigned app (which is a big process of course).
